Darkwood Recording Studios was designed by Hunter Bressan and built by locally-renowned contractor, Larry Standish. Built through the Spring & Summer of 2007, over a span of 8 months, construction was completed at the end of October of this year. Larry Standish also constructed our custom modular acoustic panel system, and the beautiful oak desk in our Control Room.
Our live room is 28'x18' with 19' Cathedral Ceilings and Solid Oak floating-floors. Near the front of the live room is a Vocal Booth, which along with the Live Room, are both isolated from the Control Room.
(17.5'x12.5'x8.5') with dual-layered walls. All acoustic measurements, room treatments, and tunings were completed by our in-house team of acoustical specialists.
